Always carry a notebook. And I mean always. The short-term memory only retains information for three minutes; unless it is committed to paper you can lose an idea for ever.I recently wished I'd taken a notebook onto the elliptical machine. A women's magazine sparked a new blog post idea. I was so worried about forgetting the idea that I didn't enjoy the rest of my workout.
